Basement Office

This basement play space needed to be converted to a dedicated office for a client making a career transition to a fully remote work-from-home role. Now working full-time from home, it was important that the office be comfortable, well-lit, and spacious. We utilized the existing post as the corner for the new space and built two new walls with a double barn door, and added an in-wall electric heater and thermostat. The walls are insulated for both thermal and acoustic benefits, and all drywall texture, paint, and baseboards needed to match the existing walls in the rest of the basement.
