Kitchen Refresh

The client liked her black cabinets, but they had been painted with a matte finish and were impossible to keep clean. She was ready to have them re-painted and decided to address the countertops and tile backsplash at the same time. While we were at it, she also decided to change the awkward orientation and size of the island and wanted to convert the built-in desk area with a reach-in pantry. In the end, her black cabinets are now much easier to keep clean, she made functional storage and layout improvements with the pantry and island, and the whole space was updated with the finishes she was able to hand pick.
