LVP Flooring

The mission was to get rid of the carpet in the dining room, but adding a third flooring type to a relatively small space was not ideal. The homeowner liked  wood-look options, so we decided to use a luxury vinyl plank, which could be installed directly over the existing kitchen tile to create a single, solid-surface flooring for the kitchen and dining area. After removing the carpet in the dining area, we installed a 3/4" subfloor sheathing to bring the surface flush with the tile before installing the LVP.
