Rolling Porch Gate

For this project, the homeowner wanted to let her dog move between the house and the porch without having to tie him down. We discussed a few options and landed on a rolling gate design that matches the rails and balusters of her porch railing, but with a natural wood finish to blend in with the brick facade behind the porch. When the gate is open, it virtually disappears behind the porch railing, and when closed, the home maintains its symmetry with the front entry framed by the porch columns and rails.
